The Clifton Column: Katelyn is 3 Months!!!

I truely cannot believe that my Punkin' Pie is 3 months old! Actually, as I type this post she is 3 1/2 months!) She is growing and changing daily. She can reach out and grab her toys. She is also very good at grabbing my nose, and getting a fist full of my hair that she will not let go of for anything. She is smiling and laughing, and occassionally we get an excited shreak. She prefers to stand in your lap instead of sit. She can push up to full 90 degrees on her tummy. She likes to fake cough. She drools constantly--she will go through several bibs per day. She is still very opinionated, and can pitch a fit that will clear a room--FAST! She has almost totally given up the pacifier already. But, she like to try and get her entire fist into her mouth for sucking! She loves to be outside, and really enjoys her daily walk in the neighborhood in the evening. She is officially sleeping in her crib, in her own room now. She sleeps from about 10:30 pm-5:30 am. I then feed her, rock her, and put her back down until about 8:00 am. Upon waking, she LOVES to stretch, and we call her "stretch-a-boo"! She will stretch for 5-10 minutes if you let her. It is so cute. She is such a happy baby in the morning! Then it is time to get up, get dressed, and go to work with Mommy! I am so thankful that I can still take her to work with me. It is a blessing that I do not take for granted. I am hoping to keep her with me until August. The main challenge at work is that she is not a good napper yet. We might get three 30 minute power naps throughout the day. I am sure that there are things that I am forgetting about her ever-changing world. I will try to get another post in sooner this time!!!
